UPDATE: Tom and Travis were very helpful in resolving our situation. There seemed to be communication issues that led to our problems. We are very satisfied with the way the company responded to make things right.nnWe had to use MD Electric for our Rockford Home that we built. Our house comes with a standard package and you are charged for upgrades. They were paid to complete electrical work and install our light fixtures.nnWe went over our plan with Marty and Brent and they looked at our light fixtures and said “this one looks hard to hang so we will be charging you an extra $200.” This happened with at least 9 fixtures and we had no choice but to pay it. Ultimately we paid this company over $7,000 and our fixtures are are hanging crooked and the outlet plates and switch plates are not straight. We have 6 canned lights in our two-story great room and 2 burned out before we even closed on the house.nnNo one at this company cares about quality of work or customer satisfaction. This company has made our building process extremely frustrating and I hope that Rockford uses another business in future. I would never voluntarily choose to use MD Electric.

My husband and I used MD this past year in our Rockford home, we had a very good experience with them. We were able to meet, and see our electric plan and add things we didn’t think were possible.nnWe also had MD install the necessary wiring for our Hot-tub after we moved in, they came out the next day we called to schedule.nnI have recommended them to friends, and will continue in the future. We just built our first home, using Rockford homes. MD is their electric contractor, that they use in building/wiring the homes. This was our first interaction with a contractor, and the guys at MD made our experience feel very personal. We were able to meet with Brent, and see our homes electric before it was built. We added a lot of upgrades to the home, and we are sure glad we did. We moved in a little over a month ago, and plan to have MD help us with our addition in the summer of this year.

MD Electric of Ohio LLC did the electric work in my newly built home. My smoke detectors were going off all hours of the day and night. Also, the breaker box kept tripping and my microwave was destroyed. This company never returned any of my calls or messages.
