My son and I attended an introductory class. Coach Dave was extremely hospitable and encouraging. The dojo itself has a very good vibe and is conducive to learning without judgement. Planning to return for more fun on the mats!
MKG Cleveland easily offers the premier martial arts instruction & experience in the Cleveland area. David Hearst is constantly, and I do mean constantly, analyzing & evaluating his curriculum, methodology... absolutely everything... in order to craft and deliver the finest martial arts instruction to his students. He's traveled extensively, worked with the finest in their fields, and committed considerably time & resources to develop as an instructor & gym owner. It would be well worth your time to check him out.
My husband convinced me to try Muay Thai and I love it ! Dave and Warren are excellent trainers and have a lot of patience and knowledge . Everyone who attends the class is so kind and respectful . Awesome martial arts school. Dave does a great job of blending practical self defense with sport training. Would recommend!
Trained here a few months back when visiting family in Cleveland. EXCELLENT environment and EXCELLENT instruction.The instructor couldn't have been more welcoming. If you live in the area and are looking at schools, I HIGHLY recommend you give MKG CLE a try!
