I stopped in to get a notary, the lady had me sit for 5 minutes prior to telling me I needed an appointment at their location. She stated that they only had one person that does notaries at their location. I asked the lady if he was currently with someone that it would only take minutes to complete the notary, she stated “yes he is”. As I’m walking out I look around the corner and he wasn’t on the phone or with a client. I guess that’s the kind of customer service you get when you mortgage through them and all your other banking needs. Specifically at the Wilson mills branch their customer service is trash. Save your time and spend an extra 5 minutes to drive to mayfield road branch where they know how to service their customers.

I rarely write a negative review on a business. However, this bank is the worst. I encountered a teller who questioned my honesty FOR NO REASON AT ALL. I HAVE IMPECCABL CREDIT AND ASSETS. All I could think of that it was due to my race being Black. The teller was Hispanic. It was the second time I encountered a problem there. My son owned a very profitable business. He asked for a short term loan. The executive was shown a certified profit and loss statement and I offered to put up cash collateral equal to the loan amount and the loan was denied. Think twice before doing business at this branch.
I Love my bank
Eh, its okay. If the bank employees were a lil nicer to non-bankers of Huntington it would be even better
