My kids and I have taken Scottish dance lessons from Miss Kathryn for a while now. She is knowledgable and fun. She has a special talent for knowing what each dancer needs most and incorporates that into the lessons. All of us have thrived and improved under her direction. We like her so much that we are willing to go across the valley (a 45 min. drive on average) to take dance with her.
Kathryn is an exceptional dance teacher. She is very in tune with her dancers, understands their motivations and recognizes their strengths and weaknesses and adapts to each individual's needs. I have been dancing for over 10 years and have never had a dance teacher take such a personal interest in my situation. After coming back to dance from a serious injury, I have been impressed at how she has helped me improve while avoiding further injury. Her classes are just the right balance of intensity and fun!
Kathryn is an exceptional dance teacher. She caring and knows technique extremely well. She knows how teach in a way that students want to excel and improve each class.
We love this studio. The teacher is patient and kind, but still firm. My kids have learned so much. We do ballet and highland.
