I started going here after 24 hour fitness had closed down, it's overall an alright gym. My problem is that it's just over crowded especially on Sundays (due to the short hours) and nobody wears mask beyond the front desk so it's very hard to social distance or get on equipment when I'm trying to get the exercises i want to do done in my hour that I've reserved to workout. The positive thing is It's nice seeing staff going around to clean equipment though and it's appreciated along with the gym providing supplies to disinfect/wipe down equipment. I just hope maybe the amount of people inside can be managed a little better or the Sunday hours can be extended at some point so people can come in when it's less busy and feel a bit safer in the gym.
I use to like this Vasa fitness years ago! Back before the pre remodeling stage! Everything just seems different! Example I miss the old cardio cinema! It was way bigger and darker like it should be! Then the machines are half broken, and people apparently don’t know what social distances means! Ugh, guess I might have to cancel and go to another gym!
I like the classes, the sexy dance class is super fun. But the rest of the gym is lacking, with old machines that are cramped in too tight spaces. It's almost always over crowded, and a good amount of people don't seem to wipe down the machines after they use them. Even the mats have tears in them, they look so old and beat up, and I don't know what it is with this place, but there are so many people who will stare at you creepily.
Completely insufficient for the capacity of noon is the slow time.
After speaking with the company they reassured me that expansion was in the works and did what they felt necessary to revive my experience. It’s hard to please everyone but they sure make an effort to.
Seriously, Scanning people is the most easiest part. There is no reason to make people wait in line when you are helping one customer. You have 2 scanners. Keep the one out so that people can scan themselves rather than waiting for an extra employee to come out, put the scanner out from under the desk. It is just sitting there under the desk
While all this is happening, few employees are just chit chatting with each other
