Amazing place to shop for great food and deals. Many different types of fresh fruits and vegetables from dealers that you can find some great deals on. I love the selection of meats and cheeses you will find, everything you could want from beef, pork, lamb, veal, chicken, goat, turkey, rabbit, smoked delicacies, and the list goes on. It’s easy to spend an entire day browsing and checking out all the generous offerings at each booth. The building is clean and easy to find, parking is available right across the way for a small fee. Handicap accessible parking and entrance, however the restrooms are located down stairs. The restrooms were clean and functional with a clearly marked location sign.
We visited for the first time today, driving an hour to get there. It was nice. I enjoyed it for the simple fact that it’s full of life and has some really excellent stands. Love the dessert stands and the spice/sauce stands. The meat stands were unique; lots of different, exotic choices. If you live in the Cleveland area, this place has some awesome stuff. Prices are a bit high (which is expected of a market), but worth it if you’re hosting a cookout/dinner and need good quality meats and cheeses and breads.nnOtherwise, I was a bit underwhelmed. There were a lot of the same types of stands, and no flowers or other things aside from food. I was hoping for some handmade soap stands or candle stands like many other markets have. The produce looked no fresher than what I’d find at a supermarket and dried vegetables were WAY overpriced. $15 for a small container of dried okra, which is much higher than even top of the line “natural” supermarkets.
I enjoy visiting here on my infrequent trips. Was there on Good Friday and they were busy. Even though we had to wait a few minutes to get in, I was happy to see them thrive. Staff was very good about getting people inside so no one has to stand in line for long. Took a couple of friends with me that had never been there. Now they are excited to return.
Very nice place but a bit expensive..
Frank's Bratwurst is an excellent product for a great value. I have been going there for over 40 years ... wonderful people, absolutely recommend.nOhio City Pasta is another favorite stop. Great product, good people.nThe open air produce section is unrivaled for selection and pricing. Shop local and support these hardworking vendors!
