Great place to bring you children. Although this learning center is closed for now, still a great place walk and hike. Can access the Towpath from here. Also have a bike and hike there. Porta-Potty on-site

Beautiful place to go learn about local species! Has nice areas for bird watching and walking. Nice fishing spot down on the trail and very friendly staff.

This is definitely one of our go-to places. Kid friendly for sure. My kids ages 7, 5 and 3 years, especially like the seek and find activity that they have switch up monthly. They also have a new kiddo section w new snakes and frogs :) we love exploring outside as well. They have a perfect pond for turtle viewing and the canal is great for fishing with little ones.

Wonderful hidden gem! The kids enjoyed looking at the turtles, fish, and displays. Adults enjoyed the rocking chairs overlooking beautiful scenery! Then we walked down the path and connected to towpath for a little bit longer walk. Lovely spot tucked away in an industrial area. So neat!

I'm a beginning cyclist and had a wonderful ride here. The bike path is gorgeous (saw a mama and baby turkey and a heron!) and well maintained. Plus there were clean bathrooms and water fountains. The trail was mostly level, but had enough hills that I ended my ride feeling accomplished and happy (especially going up those high bridges!).nnFinished my day taking a restful moment at the clean and peaceful picnic area.nnWe'll definitely be back for more rides ud83dude42
