I am so grateful for She Collective. For several years founder Samantha Walters has been working in the community in various capacities helping women with issues around reproductive health, pregnancy and postpartum life. It's clear that during that time she developed a cohesive vision for a space that would nurture women and girls mentally, physically, emotionally and creatively. The comprehensive events and services, including various kinds of yoga, speakers, a writing group, education for girls entering puberty, and more, support a growing community of women. The location itself is convenient, safe and beautiful, and the rooms are full of plants, windows and warm friendly people all contributing to a healing environment. I am excited for She Collective and look forward to spending much time there this year.

I have only had beautiful, supportive experiences at She Collective. I am forever grateful to have Samantha in my life, as she has created a one-of-a-kind space that will build you up and help you access that inner strength that we all have, buried deeper for some than for others. I urge every woman, girl, feminist, and lover of women to experience this space for yourself. All are welcome and celebrated! Go for yoga, lectures, or just for open discussion, you will never be disappointed!

I’ve attended yoga at She Collective, as well as some of the Speaker Series. This space is vibrant and growing, full of women with open hearts and minds. With the quickly expanding repertoire of options and events, it’s worth checking out...again and again!

I recently took an Ashtanga yoga class with Ginny Walters, and I am very happy with the class, the teacher, and the She Collective overall. I took the Ashtanga class because they had childcare available for an extremely reasonable price. The class itself turned out to be much better than I could have anticipated. I have some health issues, which make exercising difficult, and Ginny was very responsive to my unique needs throughout the class. I have taken several different types of yoga classes before, and I’m very excited about the Ashtanga class as, unlike most yoga classes I have come across, it is the same series of movements every time. I feel like I can work more at my breath and concentrate on what my body can do that day without having to be worried about what I have to do next. Once I learn the form that is! The childcare space was wonderful. There were age-appropriate toys and activities. The person that is watching the kids has probably herself and is very knowledgeable and kind. I will definitely be going to yoga here again, and will be looking into what other services the She Collective has to offer.
