First, we walked around the next door greenhouse and loved everything in it. Then, we ate at sage and ordered an all-vegan meal that our server was happy to accommodate. We ordered a black bean burger, but the buns aren’t vegan so we got it in a pita. I enjoyed it, but one suggestion would be getting plant based buns in the future! I really appreciated that the containers were biodegradable.

Great Place!! Seriously my favorite restaurant in Kentucky! I live in Lexington and I drive here at least once a week to get lunch!! The service is great, and my food always come out perfectly! This will be your new go to lunch and on the weekends brunch place!! You won’t be disappointed everyone needs to go to sage garden cafe!!

So cute and very yummy food! Stopped on the way to Buffalo Trace and it was a delightful lunch. Pumpkin spice cake was great too.

It was extremelt loud. Took FOREVER to get seated then to get waited on then brought us the wrong dishes. Charged $39 for dinky sandwiches and servings. Mine was supposed to be on a house specialty bread and wasn't. Then I ordered some items to go charged me for a full pound $10 when I looked in the container at home, it was only 1/2 full. The pita chips I bought were so hard you could kill something if you through it. I could go on and on. I feel as though we were Ripped Off for $50 in all. So disappointed. People if you want to stay in business, you'll have to do a lot better than that.

I've been visiting Sage regularly for almost ten years. The quality is consistently good and their menu is unique. Try the benedictine or Helen's favorite (it sounds crazy but it's actually crazy delicious). Do yourself a huge favor and take home a loaf of oatmeal walnut bread for later.
