It's a place that is peace full for kids and family the have a game room showers laundry mat and swimming pool great place to relax
Liked the camping and making memories but the lake itself was so overgrown with seaweed that it was pretty dangerous to kayak and use a boat motor on a john boat....if someone were to accidentally fall into this lake it would definitely be a tragedy because they would be entirely entangled in the thick overgrown seaweed. Be very cautious when out on the water. Staff was great, other campers were considerate and quiet, campgrounds were clean and kept up.
We were moving from our old house into the new one and the power company and I goofed up which cause us to have no power at either place. So after moving with every but of light we had and then some with car lights and flash lights it was around 11pm when arrived at Lake Lila. The poor managers were startled away and graciously allowed us to rent a tent area with electric without any hesitation. We could have opened the 3 Windows at the old apartment but it was unseasonably warm. The new house we didnt know the area well enough so I didnt want to sleep with windows open. Which now that i think back on it, camping in a flimsy tent wasn't much saferud83dude13.
Love this place friendly and treat you like family everyone is willing to help anyone with anything they can !
