Not a good visit, wanted Halibut, had none. Have removed chicken livers from menu so ordered pork chops, the Saturday special guess what Sold Out, so ordered southern fried chicken, soggy with cold mashed potatoes.nHusband ordered thousand island dressing, no longer have it. I stopped here on the way to Maryland for a quick bite. I called in my order ahead and it was ready as soon as I arrived. I've always loved Cracker Barrel. Food is always great and the staff is top notch.
Love this Cracker Barrel friendly staff and great food. Always a good place to stop and eat and they always have a full store to shop all some section of vinyls.
Waited an 1.5 hrs for a table for 11 on Easter day. When we were seated they placed us at separate 6 seat tables not connected or even near each other because t hey only had 1 10 top table that was in use and their covid policy prevent us sitting at side by side tables or putting tablet together to make a larger table despite us all being 1 party and sitting outside together while waiting. At no point were we informed we would not be sitting together and basic common sense was not used to simply place us at side by side tables and not use the table next to them to keep the 6 foot rule between separate parties for covid safety. Manager was rude and did not even try to be accommodating or understanding of why we were upset. My family ended up leaving and going home to find something to eat...I'm not about to spend money to eat out on Easter with family and not get to sit anywhere even remotely near them. I took my 100 dollars else where and will not be returning in the future.
Opted to patronize this restaurant rather than fastfood after a long day of work and last-minute shopping. Was seated within 3 minutes and socially-distanced appropriately. Restaurant was not crowded and the little market shop had maybe 4-5 customers at any given time. Server greeted us, took our drink order and dinner order within 5 minutes. He stopped back once after 20 minutes to tell us the kitchen was backed up and that our food would be ready soon. 65 minutes later, I rose to contact the manager to express our dissatisfaction with the long wait for our food. At that point, other servers were approaching our table to bring our food. It was lukewarm to cool. Unacceptable! The manager, Deanna, was more than gracious and made things right which is why this is a 2-star review rather than a 1-star. Hoping this was just a fluke, especially during the pandemic and holidays.
