LCNB Bank foreclosed on our church building, then seized every dime we have!nI’m co-pastor of a church in Butler County, and we have had some difficult financial times in 2020, as many churches have. We weren’t able to make the mortgage payments to LCNB on our church building, so we went to them with the problem and offered to give the building back to them. They said, fine, but after we auction off the building we’re going to come after you (the church) for all of our costs, including not just what you owe but attorney fees and court costs. So they filed for foreclosure on us, and we decided not to fight it but to let them have the building. We actually tried to sell the building on a land contract to help them recoup their money, and gave every dime we received to LCNB (which we can prove) but they still were not satisfied.nOn December 15, 2020 they seized all of our money in both bank accounts the church had. They not only took everything we had to pay our bills and pay our staff, but they took money designated for our emergency food pantry, money to be given to a Christian school in Haiti, and more besides. We are left with nothing.nMerry Christmas LCNB. We hope you’re satisfied with your fat profits made off of bankrupting churches.
