Winton Woods Campground

We love this place. It's a tradition every Easter weekend to come with all the family and hunt easter eggs. Great family time.

Its winter so some of the amenities aren't avail. Enough room for large campers. Close yet woodsy

Good staff, spacious sites easy to back into with electricity for $30.00 a night. Clean restrooms nice urban camping.

Winton Woods campground was excellent, we would definitely stay again! The whole park was well maintained, quiet, lots of very well marked trails and things to do. We were coming from southern Illinois and were meeting friends from Western Pennsylvania so the Cincinnati area ended up being a perfect halfway point. I was a bit concerned seeing that the location was not as rural as I generally like, but when I arrived I was very pleased! The campground is a little oasis tucked away in a fairly busy area, which ended up being in our favor as we forgot a few things and needed an easy access store. We selected one of the smaller sites near the lake but it was still very roomy. We were primitive camping but we took advantage of the easy electric hookup. Porter John's were consistently very clean, shower area was great, there was even a family bathroom/shower. The playground is updated and nice also. We went to the area near the boathouse and did some fishing and inquired about renting a boat. Prices were reasonable and staff was very friendly. We will be back!

Nice friendly place... Keep pets out of the thick brush areas... Super Fleas are in there ..Big ones...
