I am a former server and I understand liquor policies and carding people that you definitely know are over age. I was with my husband who was buying an alcoholic beverage and I touched it to see what it was and the girl said I had to show my ID because I touched it or he couldn’t buy it. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I totally understand the person who is buying it has to have ID. So if i touch a alcoholic beverage and don’t buy it do they have take off the rack since a person without ID touched it? So stupid and backwards. They need retrain that girl at the register.

TERRIBLE customer service. I have already spoken with corporate about the fact that this location’s employees normally stand around or walk in the back instead of helping customers & that they CHOOSE to not except certain IDs when they are state issued and valid, but they continue to do so. I HIGHLY recommend going down the street the either the Growler Stop or Circle K where they treat their customers with respect and don’t have employees that make their own “rules.” For udf corporate people reading this, I used to spend 200-300 WEEKLY in your stores for gas and other products. You will NEVER receive my business in the future and I will advise any and everyone I know to shop elsewhere.

I was in the Newtown store today with my young son and he noticed the boy waiting on us was alittle upset with me ??? First off alittle about myself, I'm deaf in right ear and only have partial hearing in my left when someone is standing or talking on my right side i can't hear a thing, I've learned to read lips really good but if I'm not looking at the person or know they are talking to me then i haven't a clue what is said, so i may ask someone to repeat themselves. Today 5/19 at about 1pm the young man waiting on me seemed to be botherd by the fact that i ask him to repeat himself as my son saw him rolling his eyes and making other annoyed faces ?? Which i think is just rude. I guess i could of said something to him as to my situation but i didn't want to and it would of embarrassed my son ...
