The people in the office are very friendly and my tax professional is very polite and explained everything clearly and he helped me tremendously because I filed taxes for the first time, and hope to see him again next tax season.

While the advisor did answer our questions, he was very short with his answers. Also, he barely acknowledged my wife, failing to respond to her multiple times. He showed up after we did and left before us, and seemed to be single minded on expediting our departure the entire time. He did provide useful advice, however, failed to mention the latest round of stimulus checks may be dependent upon our most recent fileing. Previous to this, as the advisor well knew, my wife (married this past year) was eligible to receive them and I was not due to higher earned income. Filing this year together, we combined are not eligible you receive any of the third stimulus check. Depending on when the IRS processes our return, our advisors haste may cost us $1400. Money that would have gone to our niece's colleges tuition or student loans we no longer qualify for forgiveness. I don't think I'll be using him or their services again if this is what I can expect.

It was expensive to have hr block advisors do my taxes. I was a first time home buyer and I wasn't given a tax credit for it which I have been told I should have gotten.
