Not every city has a wonderful botanical garden like this. It is a fantastic visit in the winter and I'm sure we'll be back in the spring or summer because then it should be fabulous!nThe orchids were sublime, the palm room was again, wonderful for a winter visit.nWe also liked the community gardens although there was not much to see there at the moment.
Great place in the city! I don’t have kids but the new area looks great if you need to entertain them. The conservatory itself if beautiful and with the trip. Dogs are only allowed on paved paths outside the main complex but there are lots of them so it’s a lovely walk. It can get a bit crowded so off hours may be best but it’s worth the wait!
I absolutely love this place! I've been here at least 10 times and I don't get tired of it. They always change the decorations for each season and have cool events like the gingerbread making contest during Christmas. They also have glass blowing classes and plant care classes like bonsai trimming. If you can't afford a ticket the Columbus Metropolitan library offers culture passes that will get you in for free! And gets you into events like their Christmas lights for half the price.
I love visiting the Conservatory. I have a membership and go regularly to get some green during the cold winter months. The grounds are beautiful and nice to walk through during the spring, summer, and fall. Events like butterflies and blooms and conservatory aglow are great for kids or for going on dates.
This place was absolutely amazing! What an extraordinary place with so much to see and experience! All of the wonderful art tastefully displayed among the natural beauty of the botanical garden. Simply stunning and a wonderful place to go and see and relax while getting some exercise. Lots of benches to sit and just admire the beauty.
