Marco's Pizza

Always good and always hot and fresh. Good service all the time. Web ordering is great. The pepperoni and sausage is delicious. The chicken dippers and sauces are always good. They usually forget the extra sauces I pay for, but... Otherwise always a good reliable pizza place!

This Marco's location is my usual go to when I order pizza. I order probably once or twice a month and they always make a good, consistent pizza. I'm not big on the cbus style that every other place does, so I appreciate the fact I can just get a good, normal pizza with actual crust. Delivery also has been quick, I've actually gotten my pizza quicker than the app said a few times.

Pizza is sub par. Delivery drivers routinely throw their delivery receipts out of their car windows. I maintain a community in their delivery area. It is a regular occurrence to have to pick up probably a week or two worth of receipts littered down a 1/4 mile stretch of road going both directions. Everytime it happens I try to better the better person and recycle them instead of taking them to Marcos and throwing them all over restaurant. If the behavior continues I will litter them within the restaurant.

We ordered pizza for delivery and were told it would be an hour and forty five minutes. We received a call after an hour of waiting stating they were no longer able to deliver and we would have to do pick up. Over the phone, we asked if the food would be fresh since it had been an hour since ordered & we were told it would be. Again upon arrival, my husband asked if the food was fresh. We checked the food immediately once we got in the car, the food was not even a little fresh and cold by the time we received it. We received at 50% discount, but the trip was not even worth our time. Wendy at the front was not even a little apologetic about the situation. Save your money on mediocre pizza and order dominos.

I ordered 2 custom pizza bowls online for pickup. The pizza bowls come with pizza sauce, but we wanted it on the side, because Marco’s sauce has a lot of carbs. There’s no option online to order it on the side. So I ordered them with no sauce. As soon as I placed my order, I called Marco’s to ask them to put the sauce on the side. The young man who answered the phone said they could give me prepackaged sauce, but they would have to charge me for them. I explained that the item we ordered comes with sauce included, so I should not have to pay for sauce. He said he would talk to the manager. A woman came to the phone (assuming it was the manager), and I had to repeat everything to her. She said no problem, we’ll give you your sauce on the side. I drove to the location, and they brought the food to my car. When I got home, I was surprised to see 4 small prepackaged boxes of sauce (yuck), for which they did indeed charge me more than $3.00. It might not seem like a lot, but we’re on a budget, so it is for us. Also, I never authorized the additional charge to my credit card. I have jarred pizza sauce at home, so I never would have paid extra for prepackaged sauce. I didn’t bother to call that location, because the manager is obviously incompetent, so what would be the point? I did fill out the survey listed on the receipt (tellmarcos.com). It’s been nearly a week, and no one has contacted me. I usually think it’s a good idea to fill out these surveys when you have a problem. This way corporate knows about the horrible customer service at certain locations. In this case, it looks as if they don’t care. There are a lot of fast food pizza joints in Columbus. Goodbye Marco’s. ****Update. Now nearly 2 weeks since contacting Marco’s, and they have not reached out to me, even though the person responding to my review said they would be contacting me. Notice that I got the standard response to my bad review from someone identifying themself as the manager. Even though I clearly stated in my initial review that I had already filled out the survey at tellmarcos.com, they instructed me to report this on tellmarcos.com. So they’re not even paying attention to the details of the reviews. Sad.
