I've been an Orangetheory member so the workouts aren't new. But, I'm new to Columbus and joined the Short North studio. The staff were very friendly when I was signing up and made sure to get me into some classes right away. They were quick to learn my name and who I was. The other members are also very friendly, often encouraging each other throughout the workout. The coaches I've had so far are great too. All around positive experience.

I passed by this place on Friday evening, and it was packed full of people, no one wearing masks, with everyone in close proximity. The pandemic is not over with! This is a significant public health issue and harms clients and the general public.

I really loved working out at this place before I moved out of the area. The instructors were great and always giving encouragement. It’s the perfect combo of cardio and strength training. If I had a location closer to my home I would definitely start going again. The only thing that was a turn off is that the manager made a comment about certain types of people not being able to afford to workout there in a very snooty way. It was a huge turnoff for me. Also, heart monitors are dirt cheap, you should include them with membership.

I moved to Columbus in January from Miami, FL right before COVID hit. I wasn’t able to meet many people or build many connections before quarantine which made it very difficult to not regret my move. When things started opening back up and OTF Clintonville first opened their doors in August, I signed up to get a good work out and to hold myself accountable. In the past few months I’ve lost almost 10 lbs, lost a ton of body fat, and gained muscle but have also found a community of amazing people at this gym. The staff truly care. They invest in you as more than just a member. They truly make you feel like part of the family inside and outside of the gym. I’ve always struggled with consistently working out without burning out but the different workouts, themed challenges, various opportunities to challenge yourself and beat personal records, and the relationships I’ve built with other members, coaches, and staff have made it really easy to come back every day. I love you, OTF Clintonville ud83eudde1

Workouts are fine.. but those are same/similar all over the place. The staff is egotistic and has no idea what customer service is all about. The only time they care is when you are about to sign up for membership. Well beware! they will upsell you and misinform you about (or even hide) cancellation policies!! After that they dont care, because they got your $ on the entire subscription whether or not you like it. The heart rate monitors suck big time and are atrociously priced. There are other places to get better value for your $$$. Avoid.
