I couldn't be happier with the service I received at Barney's Body Shop. Someone backed into my car and I needed a door replaced on my 2017 Honda CR-V. The service was quick, exactly the cost of the estimate and as a plus the customer service I received was phenomenal. As a young woman, with this being my first car, and with no one besides me to advocate for myself, I was apprehensive going to a Body Shop and worried that I would be treated poorly. However, I was treated with nothing but respect, courtesy and was spoken to like an equal. The owner even went out of his way to show me his car once he realised I enjoyed talking about cars. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I found this place in Victorian Village after getting a $900 estimate from another body shop, that my mechanic uncle though was unnecessary. They came back and quoted me $80 and a 30 minute repair. I gave them all the opportunities to look for more damage because I was in DISBELIEF! That the issue and repair was that much smaller! Jimmy stayed communicative and honest and super respectful and even did a little extra work for the 80 bucks! It was quick and fabulous and I highly recommend! Thanks a bunch!

My car was vandalized and the passenger side window/trim was completely destroyed. Decided to walk into Barney's and Jim took a look at the damage and gave me a quote in (literally) 5 minutes.nnPrice was unbeatable, so i told him to go ahead and order the replacement parts. When the parts came in he gave me a call and I dropped the car off - 2 hours later the car was fixed and ready to pick up looking brand new.nnDefinitely my most positive experience with an auto body shop and I highly recommend taking your vehicle here. Jim is a good guy who clearly has a ton of experience and passion for his job and his shop.

Barney is passionate about what he does, very friendly, knowledgeable and well priced. Definitely recommend him. He replaced my busted side view mirror quickly and affordably!

I recently had someone back into my car in the driveway and damage the hood. I got three estimates. Two were from well-known body shops/dealer body shops in the Sawmill area. $2300 and $3000. Both told me the cost would likely be higher because the frame was probably damaged. (I have 5mph bumpers and knew this wasn't the case.) They wanted to repaint the entire front end of the car for paint match and replace a lot of undamaged parts.nnI came home and Googled small body shop in Columbus and found Barney's, a family-owned business. I stopped by Barney's and told Jim, the owner, I was price conscious. Just as I told the other three body shops. Jim told me he thought he could bend the hood back because the damage was minimal. Otherwise, a new hood and paint would be $700. A far cry from the other estimates. I dropped the car off at the time he requested. Two hours later Jim called and said the car was finished. He was able to bend the hood back and it cost me $75. Not a typo. Visually you can see no imperfections.nnThe body shop business is run by the corporate mafia. The overcharging and inflated estimates are everywhere. These corporate shops want big claims from insurance. And, society pays in the form of higher insurance premiums. No one cares because everyone is making money except the customer.nnI've had this experience more than once. The whole concept of an individually-owned business where the owner does right by doing good and builds a business based on his integrity certainly isn't reflected by the corporations ruining this industry.nnThis was one of the most decent and ethical things anyone has done for me in a long time. All future references and business will be going to Barney's Body Shop.
