Don't buy from him. He is rolling back the odometer. I bought a 2007 hyundai sonata from him. He said it has 49k miles on it. When I checked online the last reported mileage was 148k. I'm thinking to sue him because I'm sure he did to others.

Bought a corolla with a supposed 76k miles. He claimed it had no problems over text but when I got there the engine light was on for an o2 sensor. I bought it anyway because it still seemed like a deal, and dealer 'seemed' very genuine to talk too. Driving home I found that the AC condensor didn't work. The engine looked to have been replaced. I looked up the VIN and come to find out the last reported mileage is 170k. I messaged him and he claimed to know no such thing about the car. Acted like it was wrong and claimed I would see when I got the title. I sure did see. When he mailed me the title after tax was paid, it says right on the title odometer discrepency. Just failed to mention that. So I paid 6k for a corolla with an actual 170k+ miles, and had to spend over $600 on repairs to turn off the engine light and have AC. It's upsetting. I'm a commuter student and a doordasher and now I'm stuck paying back a loan and the vehicle is worth half of what I paid.
