Hanaway Covered Bridge

This bridge has been beautifully preserved and restored from the last time I visited several years ago. There is a bench here, but, not much of a place to pull off and explore the bridge from truss to abutments like I would like. It is worth a visit.

My mom and I as a kid would drive through this bridge all the time going to my grandmothers in hocking county.I absolutely always looked forward to it because even as a kid at four and five years old I adored history and old structures.I loved looking through the old boards that had fallen off and thinking I want to go jump in the creek and get yelled at so bad!!!ud83eudd23❤ufe0f

It was a bridge. And one of the longer ones, but no parking, not easily accessible etc.

No one else there.. Very rural.

Beautiful Fairfield County Ohio Bridge! Only downside was a very tiny pull off to park; otherwise we really enjoyed walking through this amazing Covered Bridge
