Very cool rock formations. Hiking trail does require some minor rock scrambling. Check out trail map in parking lot first, going counter clockwise on the trail will get you to the top quicker.
Nice little 1.5 mile'ish loop with decent elevation & large rock formations.
Classic, unglaciated Ohio with old growth forest. This tract contains my favorite Tulip Poplar trees in the state. Well marked trails with gradual elevation changes make this a good trail for families. For a challenge take the short trail up to the knob. Looking forward to returning when the Autumn leaves change color.
There was only 1 person running the show. Was told everyone else was sick, but couldn't confirm or deny it was Covid.
I like getting a good workout at this place I do 2 or 3 laps since its not that big. It's Beautiful. Last time I was there I spotted a big black feline out on the trail. It was sitting and its height was at my hip. Scared me but it didn't come towards me just watched me. I called the State Natural preserves and they said they would check it out. Has anyone else seen it?
