Art & Clay On Main/Square 7 Coffee House

Great place for fun and family! I’ve been here plenty of times and have always been met by kind, informative staff! Coffee is great and the painting is fun! Try some of the reactive high-fire glazes and enjoy a new house made flavored syrup while you do!

So this is the first review I have written. Throughout my long life I have been to a multitude of places and have never felt so moved to leave a review the way I have at this moment. That is how remarkable this experience at Art and Clay on Main was. I was on my way down south for a business trip and accidentally missed my exit to bypass Lancaster, OH. This was truly a blessing in disguise as it led me to Art and Clay on Main.nnFirst, right when I walked through the door I was welcomed by the staff and manager with a hello and great big smile on their face. Since it was my first time at this establishment I was not entirely sure what to order. Luckily, the guy working at the counter was as helpful as could be. He recommended the Buckeye lotae and boy it did not disappoint! This drink took me right back to childhood giving me flashbacks to chilly days at my grandparents house. Not coming from an artistic background I did not have any intention to sit down and paint a ceramic piece. However, I just could not resist the wide variety of pottery they had to offer. Having ties to Paris I decided to paint the Eiffel Tower. As previously stated I do not have a ton of experience in the painting industry. Luckily, once again the guy working the counter, I believe his name was Ray or Jay, came to the rescue and gave me some helpful pointers to painting this Eiffel Tower. When I finished I could not believe my eyes. To this day it is the most breathtaking piece of art I have in my house.nnI would like to thank Art and Clay on Main for providing me with one of the best experiences I have had in my life. If it was possible to rate a place 6 stars I would do it in a heartbeat. You can bet I will be coming back as soon as I can and will be bringing my whole family this time! ~Lane

I love this place so much. It’s my favorite place in town. The workers are really talented artists and want to help.

Great coffee and pastries. The staff is kind. Painting ceramics there was fun as a ten year old and is just as fun as a thirty one year old. They are a downtown gem!

This place is the best! Painting and coffee drinks are both awesome. I cant wait to go back.
