Eastgate Lanes

I normally have a good time here but Sunday was very different. I’m used to the old lanes, the pins that take forever to reset and everything else but there was an employee we hadn’t seen before, he was a bit older with a ponytail. He was very loud whenever he talked (to the point that whenever we went to order anything from the other man working I could not hear him), made weird jokes, kept pulling his mask down to talk, and when a song we picked played on the jukebox he loudly made fun of it and then found a way to skip it even though we paid for it. We ended up leaving before any of our other songs played because it was rude and embarrassing. We decided that, if we do return, we will be leaving immediately if this employee is there.

Most popping bowling alley I've ever seen. Excellent and friendly staff, always some good beers on draft. Mixed crowd, from hipster kids to old men. Definitely recommended.

Pin setter kept dropping pins, and we'd have to reset a rack over and over. The ball return wouldn't always send our balls back. We had to wait while multiple lanes were open, to only be given this broken down one. 3 stars bc the other lanes didn't seem to be having this problem.

Lots of fun, the place is a bit dated and they changed the price on us from the on we were quoted and on line to when we got there. Had fun though.
