Little Italy Pizza

I honestly don't understand the good reviews for this place. All of the reviews that mention the crust being thin and hard are spot on. I find this bizarre because the ingredients are AMAZING and taste good, but it's like eating them off of a dry cracker. Seriously nasty.nnThe stromboli, however, was actually phenomenal. Absolutely worth a try for the money, but seriously, skip the pizza.

We're from Cincinnati and we loved this pizza.. But the subs were the star! Meatball sub was delicious as was the roast beef. I recommend doubling up on toppings for the few extra dollars though. Friendly service .. we were satisfied :)

Was told to wait for 15 to 20 minutes to get our small pizza.. we go back around to the window to pick it up and they said it was done and they just put it in the oven.. after we set there a hour and waited..

I'm always on the lookout for a good sub shop, and pizza places tend to have the best Italian subs. Being in Athens makes this place is a bit out of the way, but now that I've tried it, I feel I've been missing out. It is a pretty decent sub. I like that the bread is nice and toasted, and having the dressing on the side is a nice touch as it keeps it from getting too sloppy and soggy especially when getting takeout (and when isn't it takeout these days).

Ordered a small works pizza, said 25 mins, which was fine, it was ready in 25 mins, got it home, was really looking forward to a good pizza, opened the box, it looked ok, took a couple of pieces, crust was thin, sauce you could say was non-existent, along with the cheese, vegetables where still very crunchy, it was like just out of the refrigerator & on the pizza, like eating raw vegetables on a plain cracker, Little Italy in The Plains, used to be really good, but won’t be ordering from there again
