Avalanche Pizza

Edit: 4 years after my initial review, things have changed! We LOVE the pizza and they must have upped their staff because they’re always helpful and polite. Delivery can still take time but they always warn us and are accurate with delivery times. We order from here whenever we eat pizza. Get the vegan pizza! It’s amazing (and I’m not even a vegan.)nnUnfortunately have to agree with the other posters here. Really good pizza. Terrible customer service. Waited over an hour for our pizza on a Monday night. When I called to check the employee I reached wasn't very helpful. It's a good place but they need to work on their customer service and delivery times. We won't be ordering from here again.

This was our first time eating here and the pizza was delicious. We live out of town however and were unaware this was a take out only restaurant. Thankfully it is a beautiful day so we just took it to the park and ate there. We wanted to order the ny pizza or 3 for deal and there was no way to order either of those online which makes no sense to me. We will likely order from here again due to the taste of the pizza, but there are some business aspects could use some tweaks perhaps.nFollow up review: 3/28/21 we ordered from here today again using their online ordering. The updated system is so much better and transaction was seamless. Pizza great as always!

What a great pizza spot! Ordered two pizzas to sample the creativity- and we were stoked. Love the vibe, the originality, and the food! We drive through Athens often and this will now be our GO TO. Thanks for providing delicious food and keeping it real! You guys are great!

My Favorite Pizza Since Moving here Hands Down! The sauce is just right. Toppings are great. Staff is wonderful. Ice cream is so good. I just can't say enough great things. Thanks for the free pizza when I moved to Athens!!!
