The Pizza really hits the spot and is a great place to grab a bite when walking throughout Athens. The manager has a great story of how it all got started and the subs are delicious as well!

The buffalo chicken pizza is awesome! A little warm to the tastes but that’s what makes the pizza! Great job! Would definitely order this again.

The Pizza Doctor is (back) in Athens. Their pizza is decent and up there with Plus One. The Italian sub is also worth giving a shot. As far as Athens goes, that makes it one of our go to spots as there aren't many options (and Avalanche is overrated bordering on bad).

Doctor Pizza has made its return after a long hiatus from Athens. I remember it from when I was a kid in the early 90's. We decided to get it because 1. it just opened and 2. I wanted to relive some childhood nostalgia. The pizza was made quickly and the staff was very nice in processing the order and having it ready on time. There is A LOT of choice when it comes to pizza places in Athens and it can be difficult to be successful in an already crowded market.nnWe thought the sauce was good. A bit of sweet and a bit of tangy. The pepperoni was a little on the spicy side for our liking but still good. The best part about the pizza was the crust though. It was a good thickness, had a nice taste, and was consistent throughout for being hand tossed.nnWe will definitely get pizza from here again.
