UPDATED REVIEW: This location has really updated the quality of their food and is definitely better than before. 4 Stars.nnORIGINAL REVIEW: I’ve lived around the Athens area for a few years and I think this location is by far the worst McDonald’s location for miles. I’m shocked this store is as busy as it is because the food is always gross. From cold food to over/under cooked food, I would not recommend this specific location. Haven’t had any issues with the employees. The food is just flat out nasty. 1 Star.

I ordered a caramel Sunday. Instead of saying they were out or at the very bottom of the caramel, she proceeded to take a SPOON, dig into the caramel and scrape it out on my sundae. Enough said

Been sitting here for 10 minutes waiting on 2 sausage biscuits and 2 sausage English muffins. Said they had to cook them..seriously..you microwave your meat. Others are waiting behind us as well. I called inside but got the same story. I will be checking my order for spit and such as this is a college operated store.
