Davis Memorial State Nature Preserve

A wonderful place for the beginner ...The creek that runs thru has carved out the most beautiful hillside of the rocks ... on the down side next to the park alot of deforestation going on it's smallness but the way the landscape is amazing to see how powerful water can be...off the beaten path Finn an Dutch Abbott really enjoyed it...

Well-maintained trails with thoughtful plaques with geological info and bridges/boardwalks on otherwise muddy spots. My husband and I walked the full trail map in about 2 hours. Beautiful area and great trail.

Nice little park. Even has some tiny caves if you know where to look.

Beautiful geology but no dogs allowed and no restroom facilities. Bit remote but worth a stop if in the area. Website states orchid hike in May.

Quiet place for a walk. Not to difficult. Beautiful!
