One of the best Cab Sauv that I have had. What amazing scenery! Try their wine slushies
I’ll admit I’m a little biased, since I grew up with tasting Red Cat and White Cat as my first wines when I became of age. However, Hazlitt serves much more than the two wines. I’m a semi-sweet to sweet wine lover, so naturally I chose sweeter wines. (Check out my picture of my flight below for what I chose!) We thought we were gonna be a while waiting when we saw a line, but was not the case. A short ten minute wait got my party of six right in at the main bar. My friends and I had a splendid time and I decided to purchase a bottle of Red Cat Fizz and a Halloween White Cat. I wish it was easier to find a greater selection of Hazlitt products closer to Syracuse! Something that I thought was unique to the Seneca Wine Trail was that Hazlitt offers flight tasting by the glass between $2-$3. I like that option because you can really explore a various selection of wines so you aren’t stuck with just red or just dry wines.
This place is a hot spot on weekends and they stay open a little later than many others. The flights are a great deal and they even have a few ciders on the menu. If you like your Niagara and Catawba grapes, they have a cool deal on 4 sweet wines for around $35, which we definitely took advantage of. If you like sherry, definitely get a taste here, it is strong on the nose, but lots of caramel and dried cherries on the palate. The staff is nice and will gladly chat with you during your time here.
Relaxed atmosphere, good people, great wines! Highly recommend
Loved this place. Very nice interiors and good seating area outside.they have managed it very well and little ponds with fountains makes it more beautiful.nI am no connoisseur of wines so cant say much there but they can definitely improve options in snacks
