Silver Lake Campground

My Dad has been coming here for years. It is a great place to go and get away for a while. The campground offers a laundromat, public bathrooms and showers, there is a small play ground on premises as well as a covered pavilion. The lake itself is great for boating, kayaking, and paddle boarding although you aren't able to swing near the shore due to the boats and they don't offer a lifeguard. It's also close enough to town that if you need supplies or don't feel like cooking you can run to the store without feeling like you are giving up your whole day and there is a pizza place up the road that delivers.nClose enough to town to be convenient but far enough out that it's quiet and relaxing!

The landlord David was a real rude sob

It's a nice quiet place at all times. Mostly seniors but there are families with kids. Well, kept area. People are super friendly too.

Last minute Saturday family outing and they were able to accommodate us for tent site for the night. Ty!

Seeing the sunrise on silver lake is a wonder to be hold. Nice facilities.
