This magnificent edifice is of historic architectural and socio-economic significance. It was erected in 1908 by commission from the Board of Directors of the Ossining Bank for Savings originally known as Sing Sing Bank for Savings.nnWell known architect Lansing C. Holding was appointed to construct this new Beaux-Arts style structure. It served as a Bank until 1983.nnIn 2004 Mr. John R. Gouveia donated it to the Village of Ossining.nnI love its simplicity..
