Pack demonstration forest is a great, calm place to visit. Their educational walking trail is well maintained and raised over the swampy areas. It's an easy walk through a nice quiet bit of woods. The pond here is a pretty good place for wild life spotting, ice seen turtles, loons, and birds of prey on my paddles here. The pond itself is pretty small but it's a nice place to visit for a few hours if you're not looking for anything too strenuous. It's very peaceful when the summer camps aren't in session!

Not clear trails. But follow the road to the ecological study park and the views are beautiful

Lots of trails...easy hiking. Peaceful and quite.

This is a natural forest with both old and new growth. SUNY ESF has provided very educational, yet brief and easy to read, signs describing what you are seeing. No charge for admittance to the carefully laid out pathway and plenty of free parking for visitors. Highly recommended.

DEC camp was great for our 13 year old.
