The food here is all cooked to order, fresh, hot and yummy! The counter gal / waitress had the most amazing, vibrant, colorful and positive re-pore with all the regular clients and quite friendly to total strangers. While waiting for our delicious lunch to be prepared, we learned so much history about Shelter Island, how the population swells from 2,500 to 25,000 during the summer. Housing costs, taxes, the schools and where to shop. All I can say, keep the love and food coming... see you soon for one of those giant burger platters!

This place is worth a visit. They serve big portions for convenient rates. Always well organized and with fantastic vibes. Will come back again.

Certainly a place worth stopping over, the food is good and well prepared, the pricing is reasonable and it is always well kept in here. Fantastic work.

Today Friday 8/28/20 at 10:00 am. Food was mediocre but the service was exceptionally horrible. With outside seating it is expected to encounter some bees, which we did. We walked inside and asked to sit inside because of the bees. To which the waitress rudely replied to us well we have bees in here as well. She was not accommodating us by apologizing and possibly offering to close the doors so the bugs didn’t come inside. While we are eating our meal a bee flew into one of our sodas. We asked the bus boy, who was excellent to replace our drink for us. When we received the bill we had notice there was a charge for $4.00. We questioned before we paid the bill what the $4 was for and she then rudely explained, without lifting her head from her phone, that you ordered 2 drinks. We stated that a bee had flown into our cup. She then replied back oh it’s just $2 just pay it. Thankfully the bus boy was very accommodating and took care of us. While we were there we noticed that the chefs in the back cooking our food were not wearing face masks and were not wearing gloves. I would not go back to this place nor recommend it to anyone I know because of the horrible experience we encountered today and the uncleanliness of the staff cooking our food.

The fried flounder sandwich was beyond delicious! With homemade potato chips on the side! Food quality was really five stars. The only negative was there was no credit/debit card method of payment. It's either cash or payment by Venmo (electronic payment app).
