Eastern Long Island Kampground

This used to be a great place to camp. Not anymore. The staff is horrible especially the short woman with the long grey hair( looks like a witch and acts like one) she yells at the kids instead of speaking to them. They have 5 mph speed limit signs posted all over the place that are ignored by most people. ( The witch does not yell at them) A horrific accident waiting to happen! Just hope it isn’t an innocent child that gets hurt. Would not return here even if it was all expenses paid! Do not waste your money at this campground as there is absolutely nothing to do here.

We didn't stay. We visited the campground to ask questions and take a look for a future stay. The woman at the front desk was very polite and professional. She answered all my questions. We are planning a trip to stay. The place was very clean, and quiet.

We’ve been camping here for the past 7 yrs.nThe KAMPGROUND itself is really nice .nThis year ( 2020) I had guests , so had to have them park in the lot in the back . All I can say is WOW!!!! I am beyond disappointed of the condition of the road to get to the lot . I was so embarrassed as my guests have a brand new car and their tire literally sunk in the huge hole ( POND) we had tonGonThrough . Their car was full of mud . I also think it’s ridiculous that you have to ask your guests to pay tonVisit for the day . I can see if they were staying over night , but to stay for the day I can’t see.nThe staff ( a few I could name ) has an attitude and are bothered when you ask a question.nI have let the attitude from the one particular person go by long enough and think it’s time they replace her , maybe she should move out lol she lives on the property.nThe events are nice and the spooky walk is awesome. I just feel they need to attend to that rd and work on the attitude of the staff .

Went on a girls trip! What fun. The tents are really nice! Great mattresses and bedding! Air conditioning that worked well( it was 90 all three days). Nice BBQ and deck! And a pool! Staff was fantastic! One If the new owners visited with us and chatted for an hour! Coming back in late August! Can’t wait ❤ufe0f

I would like to start off by saying this campground is bottom of the barrel. I stayed for a weekend with my family in one of the safari tents and i have to say they are pretty cool but for the price and the experience i would say your better off just in a normal old tent. Afterall the safari tent was nothing but a modernized tent. Over all the staff was rude and not kind. The owner was very unprofessional and i regret giving him my hard earned money... it seemed like the owner is there to just make a quick buck. i can not stress enough that this campground is a RIP OFF.
