A heartfelt thanks goes out to the local community for saving this beautiful Mansion and grounds for future generations. Our guide was second to none. We have visited many historic structures and mansions. This is another you must visit. Rose Hill Mansion was built in 1837 and overlooks the beautiful Seneca Lake. Easy to walk, restrooms available on site, budget about half a day to take it all in. It was just a little disappointing that some much of the furniture and wall hanging pictures had dust covers over them. Not sure why this was necessary?
