Mekeel Christian Academy

The way adults treat certain children is not acceptable, but because they are adults--they are supported by the leaders of the school. My son was always being sent out of the classroom, recess taken away from him, and sent to the office when we pay for him to be in the classroom--then they wonder why he might of struggle with content- when he was spending more time outside of the classroom then being taught. Love certain teachers who were understanding but the school needs work when listening to all parents and children about a particular adult who is making kids feel uncomfortable and not showing that one child can get away with things only because of how much money their parents have while others are always getting in trouble and being sent to the office.

Corrupt; they recruit basketball players overseas instead of being loyal to their student body. I am a victim.

I went here when I was young and my 2 older siblings went for 3 years. The teachers were nice, and the academics were good... besides them not teaching evolution. They were overly strict and uptight. In the beginning of my sister's 5th grade year, she wore leggings because we couldn't afford to get the nice loose pants. they dress coded her and she had to sit in the office until my dad picked her up. They were very pushy with religion, asking my dad when he was saved. My dad's agnostic.

My children are having a wonderful experience at Mekeel Christian academy!!!! The staff is professional and very friendly. My husband and I are very please with their academic program.

Excellent academics and sports programs for a christian based learning school.
