The Charlton School

I was denied medical attention and now have chronic issues, staff rarely ever studied psychology in any capacity and had little to no training, I was made to shake my bra in front of male staff. Staff had EXTREMELY inappropriate relationships with students. My therapy, psychiatry, AND nutrition counselling sessions were documented and sent to my parents, where is HIPPA? i saw a girl SH and i saw multiple attempts here. During my time they openly practiced restraints. I left with more trauma than i came in with.

I still cry to this day about occurrences that happened at Charlton. Residential side really screwed me up. Inappropriate staff

Residential Staff have VERY inappropriate relationships with the students. Staff don’t take any accountability for the trauma they have caused. Which will only result in the cycle of trauma continuing. You do not have to have studied any psychology courses to get hired. They will act professional In Front of the right people but behind the scenes they cross boundaries. this place should be SHUT DOWN. I’m not the only student who as unresolved trauma from this place. Just look at the other reviews.

so beautiful. I have found the help I need at Charlton. Charlton has gone through so many staff. The new Clemens superviser Alexis Wielt is so awesome.

At the end of the day as a student who graduated from here, I wouldn’t recommend sending your child here. Your will be giving your child false support and towards graduation the people who you’ve gotten to know there will just drop you like trash. Honestly made me feel more useless than before
