We have lived in our home for over 25 years and after hiring David’s Design & Building to complete some remodeling projects, we now have a whole new appreciation for our home.nnMy husband and I hired David’s Building and Design just three weeks ago. We had reached out to other contractors for estimates but after meeting David and detailing the work to be done, we knew with his experience and background in painting and art, he was the right choice .nnDavid and Dan updated our staircase, removed and replaced throughout the house 2” oak baseboard molding to 4 1/2” white molding, painted all the oak trim and doors in the house, sanded and stained our oak windows as well as painted our living room and foyer.nnWe couldn’t be more happier with the finished results. The painting done by David and Dan was flawless.nnIf you are looking for a contractor with integrity and professionalism, then David’s Building and Design is the company you should hire They exceeded our expectations with their workmanship, attention to detail, and willingness to accommodate any suggestions or changes we had. David’s knowledge of paints made it very helpful with choosing the right color for our walls.nnDavid and Dan completed the work within the timeframe stated and the price for the entire job was very reasonable.nnWe highly recommend them and will definitely use them again if the opportunity presents itself.nnThank you again for an awesome job!
My best description of David's Building and Design is FLAWLESS. The workmanship and attention to detail was amazing - had I not myself seen the cutouts in the ceiling for new lighting installation I would not believe any work had been done to ceiling!nDavid and Dan were timely, congenial and have exemplary customer service skills. I have asked for a stack of business cards to have on hand for recommendations to friends for David's Building & Design. I feel so very fortunate to have connected with David and have someone I can rely on for home improvement and repair.
Punctual, professional, pleasant, perfect! We contacted David after seeing his work in our neighborhood. He provided an estimate within a day or two of calling, and offered several options to fit within our budget. He was friendly and honest, and took a great deal of pride in his business and in making sure his customers were satisfied. The painting performed by David and Dan was flawless, and we were incredibly pleased with the completed project. It would be difficult, if not impossible, to find someone to do better work than David, and we would hire him again in a heartbeat.
David and his team did a great job on our home remodel. Installed beautiful crown molding throughout and completed a high quality paint job.
As an architect I have found that David's work is first class! His knowledge of paints and techniques is superior to other painters that I have known in my profession.nMy project was not an easy one. My home /office is 28 years old and had been coated with a clear wood finish to show the beauty of the cedar siding. Over the years, the siding took a beating as the clear wood finish did not protect the wood even though the label read UV resistant. Also I had a new roof install and the roofers acted like beavers on my wood siding where the roof met walls and around the chimneys. I had thought it would be impossible to repair and have the replacement siding and trim match the existing aged siding. But David was able to make a perfect match. He replace a lot of siding and also when his work brought him to my deck, it was discovered that the decking had rotted at the wall intersection. He replaced the rotten wood with new pressure treated wood and it looks beautiful. As you can see in the photo there is metal railing around the deck and balcony. Dan, David's associate removed the railing, cleaned up and then David spray painted the metal railing with enamel to match the metal roofing exactly.nDavid and Dan are hard workers and use their time wisely. I could not be more thrilled with the way my renovation project turned out. If you want your project to be as successful as mine you should choose David's Building and Design. They do excellent work!
