Great dog park with lots of room to run. I would recommend coming at around 4pm to 6pm during the winter months to achieve maximum puppy playtime. The field is broken up almost 50/50 between grass and gravel. There is no shade and only one bench to sit on. This particular dog park has two sections, one side for bigger dogs (25lbs and over) and the other for smaller dogs (25lbs and under). The sections are separated by a fence and have their own gates. During the summer there is a water fountain for the dogs but is shut off during the winter. Usually, but not all the time, there are doggy bags provided so you can clean up after your furry friend. It is better to bring some back up bags just in case. This park does seem to have a problem with people picking up their dogs poop which is sad but I would say the parks only "flaw".
Also keep in mind that there is no rules against putting the smaller dogs in with the bigger dogs if your dog is accustomed to being around bigger dogs. I have seen this done many times with the minor consequence that the smaller dogs may get run over by the bigger dogs. I have been taking my dog (Siberian Husky) to this dog park every day for the past month because I love close by. He loves it. I have also found that the caliber of dog that comes to this park is better than most. Most of the dogs seem well behaved and are not aggressive and get along with all manner of breeds. Just as long as you keep an eye out on your dog and aren't on your phone or something, everything is usually fine.
We love coming here because it's close by and lots of dogs come, but there's not much shade or benches to sit on (for owners who care). But our dog loves it. You might want to bring your own camping chair and some bags for poop, otherwise it will suit you and your dogs' needs.
Nice big open space with both grass and sand area. Easily accessible by street parking. Simple but without being plain, definitely one of the better dog parks around
Busy dog park. Lots of dogs. Seems well maintained. One of the better dog parks. Also lots to do close by like pickleball and nice playground for the kids.
I love this dog park! There is two areas, one for little dogs and one for big dogs. Owners are nice and there are even regulars so your dog can make friends!
