Rio Valley Montessori Preschool & Nursery

My daughter has gone to preschool at Rio Valley since February 2019. The teachers there are very caring. The kids get personalized attention and they learn independent skills. It has been a huge help in bolstering her Spanish language skills, as the teacher is a native Spanish speaker and this class gives her tons of high quality Spanish input. Rio Valley has been an ideal place for my daughter to make the transition from being only at home to becoming more independent in a school environment.

We love Becky, Any and the teachers at Rio Valley! It is such a special place. We looked at seven other schools before deciding on this one for our toddler and we have been happily attending for 1.5 years. My daughter has food allergies and the team has gone out of their way to accommodate her needs. She loves the yoga, soccer, swimming and montessori materials. It is a very homey, educational environment that the kids love. She has learn and grown so much with her teacher’s attention. She loves going to school and we refer to Becky at home as ‘second mommy’.

My son went to Rio Valley summer 2019. He had a really nice experience. The staff is super friendly, sweet, communicative, kid conscious and treats the kids great! They give them nutritious organic meals and cultivate a lot of independence, which we loved. The bilingual component is great as a family raising a bilingual child. A very down to earth place and we look forward to sending him back in the future!
