Rockland Country Day School

This was the best decision for my son. He is flourishing, happy and supported. The teachers care, they are excellent and are always willing to help. The community is great too. We are so happy being part of RCDS.

My daughter has been a student at the Rockland Country Day School for many years and her entire Children's School experience has been one of personal growth and accomplishment. The warm, inclusive, nurturing environment has made my daughter feel comfortable and safe. The patient and positive approach of faculty has encouraged her to always strive for her personal best. I've enjoyed watching her mature into an intellectually curious, and expressive thinker, especially as a result of her writing curriculum which has allowed her creativity to blossom, and her inner voice to be expressed. Thank you RCDS!!

A school that is a safe space for all students. While no school is perfect this school does a lot of things right. The school culture, warm and supportive environment is unparalleled. They are educating children to be global embassadors, good citizens, and socially just members of their community. The youth’s art, original music, science projects and steam lab creations are super impressive. My son loves the school from the administration to the chef who runs the kitchen (Chef Ray whips up a variety of healthy foods that my son raves about— I have not packed a lunch since my son began at RCDS. This is a kid that never ate a public school lunch even if he forgot his lunch at home). Small class size and lots of individual attention to each student education and social needs.

Completely racist, terrible instruction rude teachers. This was some time ago.

I went there about 30 years ago but it was great compared to public school.
