This restaurant provides amazing service as well as tasty food. My favourite restaurant in the city. The meals came out rapidly and the rates were reasonable. Highly recommended.

Wanting to try one of the Rockland BBQ places for lunch, we chose this one with the highest rating. The ribs are the thing to have here. Very enjoyable, though I felt their dry rub was a little too salty. Pulled pork came already drenched with sauce - usually I like to see this come out plain, with a few sauce choices on the table. Theirs was quite sweet, heavy w/brown sugar. Kielbasa was surprisingly good; smoky fresh pork, not hot dog-like at all. Friendly service.

Hungry for some good BBQ after a walk around Rockland Lake, we looked for our old haunt, Hocus Smokus. This place is now renamed to Brookside Tavern and Smokehouse.nnThe brisket sandwich was yummy– coleslaw and brisket (smoked on the premises) in 2 medium sized, fluffy buns. Double the fun. Good sides of baked beans with onions, creamy mac and cheese. Friendly and efficient staff. Angry Orchard and a pale ale to wash it down.nnWe ate at the little outdoor picnic area, because Covid. But will be back to try other fare next time we are in the area.

Fast and excellent service, the food was a lot, warm and delicious, I strongly recommend it.
