Islamic Center of Rockland

Was driving through the area and wanted to stop to pray. Gates were locked and were not able to get into mosque. Disappointing to find out and had to pray outside on the lawn in 30 degree weather ud83eudd7a. The masjid looks beautiful from the gates but not welcoming as it’s all locked down and travelers cannot go in to pray like any other masjid.

is there still jummah prayers on fridays?

Robust services. Ample parking. Little bit of a precarious drive up a steep hill to get to mosque. Be very careful when roads are icy!!

First time praying today at Rockland Islamic Center and to give out brochures for my work with Guidance Residential, number 1 Islamic home financing company in the US. Located on a mountain top, this is a beautiful and spacious Masjid with plenty of parking, kids' playground, prayer space for sisters and good sermon by a young Imam.
