Columbia High School

I attended CHS from Sept '95 until June '99. The teachers I had were super passionate about the subject they taught. The science program is top notch, so much so that for the second straight year in row the science team has finished in the top 4 (number 2 this year!) at the state competition and is heading to Nationals again. I enjoyed my time on the tennis team, working on the newspaper, being a science nerd, etc. High school, no matter where is it, is all what you make of it and how much you get involved. If you engage with your teachers and respect them, then you will get the same in return.

There's a lot of smug rich kids that go to school here. I didn't like dealing with that when I went here years ago, but other than that this school is a great school. There is a lot of academic programs and it's one of the best schools in the nation.

Literally the best school I've ever been too. Growing up my family moved a lot and unfortunately I hadn't had a choice but to as well. Went to many different schools Including high schools and finally made it clear that I was graduating from Columbia. The teachers are truly phenomenal. They thrive to see their children have wonderful futures. Even as a high school, they are actually very good when it comes to bullying and even involve the police. If your child has an IEP, instead of pulling you out of class, they will tell you ahead of time to meet in a specific room. They truly take their time helping and explaining in many ways until you finally understand. Ms Maney was the BEST! Even if you didn't have certain teachers, by the end of the year you will learn each and everyone's names just from exchanging hello's and even smiles during the halls. :)

I was a student in their special education program they treat their students kind and tell them the honest truth covatta and lally were my favorite teachers because the put me in my place time and time again and for those hatin you can kindly kiss my butt because you guys and gals r just jealous that this school is better at teaching than your current school or old high school so you can go screw off yourselves
