Excellent communication from the service team. Kindly loaned me a vehicle at no cost when they needed more time to make my repairs. Great place, if I were a believer in buying new cars I’d buy there.

We had a great experience with Cooley. Jwira (Jay) Williams took the time to understand what we needed in a car and guided us through the tradeoffs and the process until we bought the right one. Not that we buy many cars, but I can't imagine buying our next car from anyone else. He's that good. It doesn't hurt that he's selling high quality cars. :)

Dan Stein was given the impossible task to find a new vehicle for me and my family in June 2020 and did he ever deliver! We love out 2020 Atlas and the people at Cooley went above and beyond for us. The timing was was terrible with the pandemic, manufacturing of vehicles had stopped. Every other VW dealership in the Capital District treated us like absolute garbage and would not look anywhere else than their own lot. . Not Cooley, Dan searched the entire east coast and was able to find the Atlas that we wanted at a fair price. He even personally drove 200+ miles each way to pick up our Atlas. I can not say enough good things. Glad we decided to check out Cooley. Hopefully it will be a long time before we need another vehicle, but when we do, Cooley will be the first place we look.

I had a very disappointing experience with Cooley Volkswagen.  In November of 2019 I purchased a Jetta GLI.  My dealings with the sales staff were wonderful, I cannot fault the sales staff for anything.  What has prompted this review is the fact that Cooley Volkswagen continues to send me mailings despite my repeated requests to be removed from their communications.nnI had issues with the vehicle on delivery.  The outside was covered in adhesive from the protective film.  The interior was covered in what looked like water marks, which I was only able to remove with rubbing alcohol. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but when I purchase a brand new vehicle I expect it to be completely clean.  Additionally, they had done a very poor job of wiping off the vehicle and it was/is covered in fine swirl marks.nnI filed several complaints and was assured it would be remedied.  I never received any follow up. I feel that the non-responsiveness of the dealership was completely unprofessional.  Even if I had been determined to be the unreasonable party, I still would expect a response. I am out 300 dollars because I had to pay for paint correction to fix all the horrible looking swirl marks.nnIn another instance, I went back to Cooley Volkswagen to get a quote for roof racks and snow tires+wheels.  I emailed them several times in advance asking for a quote.  I was instructed to make an appointment and when I arrived they stated they would have to do research while I waited (I had emailed them in advance to avoid this issue).  I was waiting for almost two hours and none of the service staff once came to tell me what was going on.  I followed up with them and they had already installed the racks and stated that they did not have snow tires and wheels in stock.  This was the final straw.  I ate the cost of the rack installation and returned them the following week.nnCooley Volkswagen, stop sending me mailings or get in contact with me to remedy these issues.  As of now you have done nothing to earn my business.
