Sell me a bath soak specific to my Horoscope. Align my chakras with vintage band tees and plants I’ll probably kill. Make me consider starting a sticker collection. Poor George, you will be less poor if I ever manage to leave.

Poor George has a fantastic mix of new and vintage clothing, gorgeous houseplants, and artisan made soaps, candles, and jewelry. The owner is super friendly, and has a great eye for interesting items. A place you must visit if you find yourself in Cold Spring!

Poor George is the perfect store to wander into when up in Cold Spring! I found some great staple pieces and honestly could have bought so many more things (jewelry, purses, plants!). Highly recommend.

Excellent store with a fantastic selection of clothes! Every time I have gone in, the staff have been incredibly kind and very friendly, but not at all bothersome. They seem very genuine in their chats with customers!
