Their physical and online menus state that lunch ends at 3pm - we had errands to run and wanted to grab some lunch from this place, arrived at approximately 2:45, and they would not serve us from the lunch menu stating that lunch ended at 2:30. If that is the case, you need to update your information to show this, but I have a feeling that this wasn’t the case - I’d love to be wrong about this though and see the hours updated (but I doubt that will happen). It’s a shame - their food is excellent. Service is terrible, except for who I assume is the supervisor; she’s always very sweet.

It was a beautiful day, so we wanted to picnic at Kershaw Park on the lake. Sakura Japanese Steak House is a little over one block from the park. Due to my wife's food allergies and being a vegetarian, we decided to go here for take-out. So much better than the fast food places. The staff were courteous and the inside is very nicely done. Almost decided to eat in as people were spaced out well for COVID, but it was just too nice outside after being cooped up through winter. The price was good, the portions generous and the wait was a little over 15 minutes. My wife had sweet potato wraps (warm) and cucumber wraps (cool). She thought it was perfect. I had the teriyaki chicken dinner, with salad, soup and rice (I am not a vegetarian). Excellent. I believe the total was a little over $25.00 (the cost mostly mine). We will definitely go again! It made for a wonderful picnic.

Busy Friday night but nobody around for 20 minutes to take orders. My takeout the last 3 no the has been pretty bad. Forgetting my drinks, not even putting a napkin in there. I've been ordering for years and this is the worst it's been. Food so so

Food is awesome. Was introduced to this place for the first time a month ago. Some good friends treated me to dinner and I've been hooked ever since. Literally eat here four times a week now. Food is always amazing and consistent. Big portions. The lady that takes care of the ordering is so nice.

Prices are great. Sushi was delicious. Place was very clean. Employees were very polite. Will without a doubt be getting sushi here when I’m in town again.
