beautiful place brings back so many old memories

This has always been one of my favorite local places. It is great to just grab a cup of coffee, head down and sit at the pier. No matter what the season is, it is quite a sight. There is a neat little Fisherman's Village of vintage boat houses that people still utilize and own. There is not a huge amount of parking, but during the colder months, you shouldn't have any issue. I still go there at least twice a month during the winter. You do have to deal with kids coming down blaring music out of their cars sometimes, but it's not that big of an issue. It's Scenic, peaceful, and located near downtown. Definitely stop by if you have never been

Nice View and fun to explore. Dont attempt anchoring unless an experienced boater.

More money could be spent to enjoy this island like a park that it is. Otherwise a health hazard to explore it.
