Not sure how business is really going for this Y. Hours are very limited. It’s lesser quality and has far fewer class offerings than Monroe County YMCA’s. They seem to cater to older people’s schedules. We work FT so we couldn’t get there before 7pm weeknights. They are closed most of Saturday and all day Sunday. They always closed early for holidays, to an odd amount. Eventually we cancelled our subscription. Too bad because we loved the other Y’s. This one just kept pulling back hours to the point we couldn’t even get there anymore.

Poor “customer service” or what you’d call it. They are not here for the members but the money. Numerous poor experiences but I wanted to give keep giving them chances. Not a bad experience when you don’t have to talk to the “top” people working there, but as soon as you do they can never do anything for you. Sad that I have to write this review because I never write bad reviews, but this last experience put me over the edge.

This was my first time there, but I had a very good experience.

Not a bad place to workout. They have a very large pool, a great selection of cardio, and weight training equipment. They offer quite a number of classes, but I found they didn’t offer the same class at the same time every day. It is quite expensive to join with a single person membership of $65. For that kind of money I would have expected some nicer locker rooms. They aren’t horrible, but the scale in the men’s locker room should give you an idea about how much they care about locker rooms. Make sure you have your tetanus shot!

The parking is absolutely rediculous. No accommodations for moms with children at all, tons of handicapped and Senior parking. Water baby classes start late and their only a half hour. Old women use family locker room then act like your in their way. Changing room doors are short so your two year old can run out. No changing tables around lockers. Very inconvenient place.
